6-year-old Tennessee boy with cystic fibrosis recovers from coronavirus | WBNS-10TV Columbus, Ohio

CLARKSVILLE, Tennessee (WTSP) – Joseph Bostain emerged victorious from his battle against COVID-19. It was not the first challenge for the 6-year-old boy with cystic fibrosis. But this latest fight against a potential virus may have been one of the most difficult experiences to date.

“I am a cystic fibrosis warrior and I beat COVID-19,” he said in a Facebook video posted by his mother, Sabrina.

Bostain was adopted at 14 months of age and needs more respiratory treatment each day, his mother told Clarksville Main Street.

The coronavirus caused episodes of coughing so severe that he had trouble sleeping. A fever appeared and disappeared, but now, reports the newspaper, it is recovering.

“He’s doing so well,” Sabrina Bostain told the chain. “He is perky and happy. He still has a mild cough and stomach problems. But I think we are about to finish everything without fever for four days. “
