The Johnson County, Kansas Department of Health and the Environment said Tuesday morning that the county had added four confirmed cases of COVID-19 and that another person had died from coronavirus-related illnesses. The county said there are now 217 confirmed cases in Johnson county and 10 deaths in the county. The four new cases represent one of the smallest increases in Johnson County since the epidemic hit the Kansas City metropolitan area in mid-March. The county also said there were 1,858 negative tests in the county. Health officials have yet to record the number of people who have recovered from COVID-19 in Johnson County.
