38 cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Madison Co.


JACKSON, Tennessee – The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department has confirmed that there are now 38 cases of COVID-19 in the county.

The health department says that new patients understand:

  • 43 year old man
  • 49 year old man
  • 65 year old woman
  • 46 year old woman
  • 39 year old man
  • 42 year old woman
  • 72 year old woman
  • 45 year old woman
  • 63 year old woman
  • 24 year old woman
  • 63 year old man

Only one of the new patients is hospitalized. The rest were asked to self-isolate, according to the health department.

The Ministry of Health said five positive cases came from the driving test which took place in late March. One of them was a resident of Chester County, according to the department’s statement.

The press release indicates that 23 tests are still pending.
