15 new cases of coronavirus registered in Hull and East Riding


Hull and East Yorkshire have seen another significant increase in the number of confirmed coronavirus cases since the start of the epidemic.

There are now 15 new cases of coronavirus that were confirmed on Thursday in Hull and East Riding.

New data released by Public Health England on Thursday shows that there are now 38 cases in Hull and 96 in the constituency of East Riding.

The new figures show that another seven cases of the virus have been recorded in Hull with a figure of 31 on Sunday.

While the number of cases in the electoral district of East increased by eight compared to the previous day, when the number was 88.

Meanwhile, three other people died in the NHS Trust area of ​​Hull University Teaching Hospitals, bringing the total number of deaths to 13.

Another 403 hospital patients in England who tested positive for the coronavirus died, bringing the total to 4,897, said NHS England.

The patients were between 35 and 106 years of age and 15 of them had no known underlying medical conditions. Across the UK, there have been 439 deaths.

There are now 51,608 cases of coronavirus across the UK, representing a daily increase of 5,373 while in England the figure is 42,990, with a daily increase of 4,897.
